Dave Groom has been commissioned to paint works for the new Binna Burra Lodge. After the original lodge was lost to fire in 2019, the rebuild is almost complete and Dave has just finished the first of four new oil paintings that will feature in the new lodge dining room. This first painting features the heath forest and wildflowers of the Dave’s Creek Circuit, one of the most popular walks in Lamington National Park. It will be part of a triptych that features different landscapes on the eastern side of the National Park. Dave will also paint a larger work inspired by the well known Coomera Gorge.
You can view Dave’s new painting, Early Flowering at his Studio Gallery at Beechmont, along with several other paintings and prints which are available for sale. Just contact Dave via this website to arrange a visit.
